Heya. My name is Manuel Cordova and I'm a statistician from Lima, Peru. My secret is to find a book about my field and start reading. Then I'll go on to ask questions on math forums and watch youtube videos of people solving the same problems I am trying to solve. That way, I can learn from my mistakes and progress in the subject. I am a bit of a nerd. I love to figure out the best solution to various problems. I do this for fun in my free time, also on weekends. I can say that all week long i'm on the computer solving problems. I hope that by writing this article, it can help someone solve some kind of problem they have. The way I will use this article is to start putting up some derivations so the reader knows how they were done and also so he knows how easy it can be if you have some knowledge about your field or if you are close to being an expert already.First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Manuel Cordova. I'm 34 years old. I live in Lima, Peru. I am an expert programmer (I've been programming since i was 12!). Also, I consider myself an expert Statistician, at least when it comes to basics. I got into that field by accident actually. When I was 20, while preparing for the university admission exam, the subject of Probability came up because it was part of one of the exams (suppose you want to be a Mechanical Engineer). So i bought a book about Probability and started reading it because i needed help with that exam. The more i read it the more interesting stuff there was. I decided to read a bit more and take some notes. I went to a lot of math forums and asked a lot of questions. Then I kept on asking questions until i understood everything. I finished studying a few years after that, but did not continue with my studies, which actually turned out good for me because all the boring stuff from university was not going to be part of my life anymore. cfa1e77820
