The story was interesting and had enough twists in it... there was always something that kept you guessing till the end. And the love story was really nice... well, IN INDIA! IN INDIA... nice... yaar! It's funny how it's an average film to many but makes headlines in the press because of its boldness and tendency to "offend" people. I didn't understand it in the least, in fact I thought it was a well made film in spite of the negative comments made about it. It was good-looking and had some nice songs, however - to me - this is not enough to make a film good (direction, script). It was nice to see Priyanka Chopra in a role that was not expected of her - she looked great, she acted great and she sang beautifully. However, I still don't think the film was as good as the trailer made it out to be. It was a nice romantic film with two great actors! However, it didn't do anything new... there were a few surprises but mostly it went according to what you thought would happen... What I didn't like about the movie were the songs that came in between after certain scenes. Every time a scene got intense it would switch to a song and I felt that the movie started going downhill from there. It was not completely necessary to have songs in between all of the scenes.
